CityDefend Searchable Encrypted Cloud Storage

Citydefend is an encrypted storage and search application suite built on microservice architecture. City University of London developed their proprietary algorithm to perform homomorphic search on encrypted data. We engaged as the application developers to bring the algorithm to a product suite.

Highlights: Microservice based architecture with Java/ Jhipster. Heavy encryption tasks are handled in the web frontend using web workers to parallel process. Used IndexedDB for client side storage of documents that are encrypted in the browser.
